Garrett Billings scored 6:37 into overtime, lifting the Rock past the Blazers, 8-7.

Trailing 6-4 at the start of the fourth quarter, Boston (0-2) scored three goals in the fourth quarter -- the last of which, with 4:10 left, was defenseman Mitch Belisle's second of the game -- to force overtime.

Belisle and Toronto (2-0) forward Stephan Leblanc were the only players to score twice in the game; Leblanc led all scorers with seven points, on two goals and five assists.

Calgary Roughnecks at Minnesota Swarm
Friday, 8:35 PM - Xcel Energy Center
Inside: Game Stats | Discuss the Game

A five-goal fourth quarter proved not quite enough for the Roughnecks, who dropped a 12-10 decision to the Swarm on Friday.

Tracey Kelusky and Craig Conn each netted two first-half goals, as Calgary (1-1) trailed by just 6-5 at halftime, but Nick Patterson put up a third-quarter shutout for Minnesota (1-1), which increased its lead to 9-5 in that time.

Dane Dobbie scored twice in the final period for the Riggers, but the Swarm stayed a step ahead, turning goals by Kevin Ross, Tim Campeau and Callum Crawford into a victory.

Sanderson (2 goals, 6 assists) and Kelusky (3 goals, 4 assists) led all players in scoring. Zach Greer (1 goal, 4 assists) paced the Swarm offensively.

Edmonton Rush at Washington Stealth
Friday, 11:00 PM - Comcast Arena
Inside: Game Stats | Discuss the Game

Rhys Duch and Luke Wiles tallied hat tricks as the Stealth stopped the Rush, 15-7.

Washington (2-0) did most of its damage before halftime, building an 11-5 advantage on two goals each from Duch, Wiles, and Lewis Ratcliff.

Ratcliff took home top scoring honors, totalling seven points on two goals and five assists. Ryan Ward (2 goals, 1 assist) had three points for Edmonton (0-1).

Boston Blazers at Philadelphia Wings
Saturday, 7:00 PM - Wachovia Center
Inside: Game Stats | Discuss the Game

Drew Westervelt had a hand in three of the Wings' four second-half goals, guiding the hosts to a 12-8 victory over the Blazers.

A decidedly low-scoring first quarter (1-1) gave way to an explosive second, in which Philadelphia (1-1) snagged an 8-7 halftime lead with goals from all corners of its offense -- from Geoff Snider to Mat Giles to Westervelt.

Another 1-1 period in the third kept Boston (0-3) within a goal, but the Blazers were held scoreless in the fourth while Westervelt, Kyle Sweeney and Teat secured the win.

Westervelt (2 goals, 3 assists) was one of three players to finish with five points, along with Boston's Nick Cotter (4 goals, 1 assist) and Daryl Veltman (2 goals, 3 assists).

Rochester Knighthawks at Buffalo Bandits
Saturday, 7:30 PM - HSBC Arena
Inside: Game Stats | Discuss the Game

Craig Point scored four goals to lead the Knighthawks past the Bandits for a second straight week, 13-11.

After trailing by a goal at halftime, 6-5, Rochester (2-0) turned on the scoring in the third quarter, with Point scoring twice -- and John Grant and Cory Bomberry once each -- in the first 7:25, taking a 9-7 lead.

Buffalo (0-2) pulled within a goal several times after that, but never found the equalizer.

Grant had a game-high eight points (3 goals, 5 assists). Mark Steenhuis tallied six points (4 goals, 2 assists) for the Bandits.

Edmonton Rush at Colorado Mammoth
Saturday, 9:00 PM - Pepsi Center
Inside: Game Stats | Discuss the Game

Ryan Ward's fourth goal, scored early in the fourth quarter, held up as the game-winner as the Rush edged the Mammoth, 14-13.

Ward scored three times in the first half, leading Edmonton (1-1) to a 9-6 halftime advantage.

Colorado (0-2) countered with an Ilija Gajic natural hat trick in the third quarter and held an 11-10 lead before the Rush struck for four in a row.

Ward (4 goals, 3 assists) and Gavin Prout (7 assists) topped the stat sheet for Edmonton, while Gajic (4 goals, 3 assists), Brian Langtry (3 goals, 4 assists) and Jamie Shewchuk (2 goals, 5 assists) also hit seven points for Colorado.
