Watson, also the Defensive Player of the Week, stopped 45 of the total 48 shots against from the previously undefeated Rochester Knighthawks in a 17-3 win. He held Rochester to a single goal in the first half and only two more in the second, holding the Knighthawks to their lowest single-game goal total in franchise history.

Washington Stealth forward Lewis Ratcliff was named Offensive Player of the Week. Ratcliff finished a two-game weekend with eight goals, four assists, and six loose balls in two victories. Friday night against Buffalo, he tallied two goals and an assist in a 13-11 victory. On Saturday, against Calgary, Ratcliff turned in a six-goal, three-assist performance, including what would turn out to be the game-winning goal with just 3:22 left in the game.

Toronto Rock forward Garrett Billings was voted Rookie of the Week. Billings had five goals, three assists, and collected two loose balls, and led all scorers in a 17-3 win over Rochester. This is the second time in three weeks that he has won the award.

The Transition Player of the Week was Paul Rabil of the Washington Stealth. He registered a goal and eight assists and picked up seven loose balls over the weekend as the Stealth defeated Buffalo and Calgary.

The NLL weekly player awards are determined each week by a vote of the general managers and head coaches of the league's eleven member clubs.
