Bandits slip back into Experts Poll leadRout of Rock, Calgary loss combine to put Buffalo back on topR.A. Philly Outsider's Guide Editor in Chief It's amazing what a 25-10 victory can do for a team. Coming off their thrashing of the Toronto Rock on Saturday -- and certainly not hurt by Calgary's loss that same night -- the Buffalo Bandits have regained top billing in the weekly Lacrosse-Network.com Experts Poll. It's impossible to guage whether the Bandits would have moved back into first place on their victory alone, but the Roughnecks' loss at Colorado cemented Buffalo's sixth number-one ranking in seven weeks. The Bandits earned 83 points, including first-place votes from six experts. Calgary, which slipped back to number two in the weekly rankings, drew 78 points (one first-place nod). Among the rest of the rankings, three spots were decided by a single point. New York continues in third place, leading Colorado by a 66-65 count (it had been three points last week); Minnesota edged Boston for fifth, 52-51; and Philadelphia narrowly held off Edmonton, 23-22. Our panel of seven experts includes a wide range of top lacrosse minds, including Outsider's Guide writers, players, and coaches. Scoring is on an 12-11-10-etc. basis, so that the maximum score a team can earn is 84 points and the minimum is seven points. The complete rankings from this week's Experts Poll, with comments (win-loss record through Sunday is in parentheses):
