Stealth continues Experts Poll dominanceWashington earns 6 of 7 first-place votes to (again!) outpoll TorontoR.A. Philly Outsider's Guide Editor in Chief For the third straight week, the Washington Stealth is ranked first in the latest Lacrosse-Network.com Experts Poll. Washington, which struggled to shake off a challenge from Minnesota last weekend, again received six first-place votes and earned a total of 76 points. The Toronto Rock remains in second place (70 points, one more than last week, and one first-place vote), while the Orlando Titans (64 points) continue to hold down third. The first change in this week's rankings came in the number four position, where Calgary (50 points) vaulted from sixth place after defeating Edmonton, 13-8. The Rush (46 points) went the opposite direction, dropping two spots to sixth (Rochester, with 48 points, remained in fifth). The only other change in the rankings came at the bottom of the table, where Minnesota's tight 12-9 loss to Washington earned it just enough respect to slip out of last place, edging Buffalo for that honor, 13 points to 12. Our panel of seven experts includes a wide range of top lacrosse minds, including Outsider's Guide writers, players, and coaches. Scoring is on an 11-10-9-etc. basis, so that the maximum score a team can earn is 77 points and the minimum is seven points.
