Loss doesn't hurt Washington in Experts Poll

Stealth stays #1 over Rock; Bandits up three spots to eighth

Despite suffering its first loss of the season this past weekend, the Washington Stealth remains as the top-ranked team in this week's Lacrosse-Network.com Experts Poll.

Washington (75 points), which fell 16-12 at Minnesota, was penalized only slightly by the Experts, five of whom still have the Stealth as their top team (a loss of one point and one first-place nod since last week).

The Toronto Rock remains in second place, again drawing 70 points (including one first-place vote) after routing Edmonton, 16-7, and losing at Calgary, 10-8. Orlando, meanwhile, continues in third place (64 points, one first-place vote) after not playing last weekend.

The biggest move of the week came from the bottom of the rankings, where the Buffalo Bandits played a 13-11 win at Philadelphia into a jump from eleventh place to eighth (25 points). The Wings, meanwhile, plunged into last place, earning a mere nine points.

Our panel of seven experts includes a wide range of top lacrosse minds, including Outsider's Guide writers, players, and coaches. Scoring is on an 11-10-9-etc. basis, so that the maximum score a team can earn is 77 points and the minimum is seven points.

The complete rankings from this week's Experts Poll, with comments (win-loss record through Sunday is in parentheses):
